Eco Teacher of the Year 26 September 2018

For the third year now Eco–Schools is running the Eco–Teacher of the Year award. Last year we received heart–warming and impassioned nominations from pupils across Northern Ireland who were keen to let us know about all you amazing Eco–Coordinators. After shortlisting the entries our panel of judges somehow managed to choose a winning primary and post–primary teacher. You can see the winning primary nomination for Mrs Darmody, pictured, from St John’s Primary School, Derry, here on our website.

We want to hear from pupils about why their teacher/Eco–Coordinator deserves the title of Eco–Teacher of the Year. Nominations can be in the form of a video, poem, song or whatever inventive ways pupils can come up with, but must not be more than 100 words. Nominations should be submitted to eco-schools@keepnorthernirelandbeauitful.org by 1st February 2019. One nomination per school.”
