Ulster American Folk Park
The Ulster American Folk Park is an outdoor museum which tells the story of life in Ireland and America in the 18th and 19th centuries, brought together by the experience of eimgration. Costumed guides help school groups to explore Irish and American exhibit buildings, many of which are original buildings, relocated to the Park. Students can also join in traditional workshops such as woodcraft, corn dolly making, spinning and find out about traditional crops and foodstuffs.
The programmes are suitable for students at all stages of their education, from lower primary to upper secondary (Year 1 - Year 14).
